You are invited:

Next Sunday, the parish has a Māori Miha (Māori Mass) at 10.00am

followed by a procession carrying the Statue of Mother Mary around

the Church and our school. All students from the schools are invited

to join the procession with their parents at 11.00 am in front of

St Mary’s Church.

I would like to thank everyone for coming along to the Three Way Interviews.  It was great to see so many of you and have the opportunity to talk in person.

It was a busy week last week, with the children enjoying a trip to the Government Gardens Tearooms for a Museum trip, to learn about our area and its history.  They enjoyed the stories and information from the past and especially enjoyed thinking about the cities of the future and building a 15 minute city.  thank you to the parents and grandparents that came along with us.  It was greatly appreciated.

We have been working on Geometry for maths and identifying shapes and their properties, both 2D and 3D. 

   They enjoyed making 3D shapes using the Strawbies.

We had fun with Science and learning about different types of energy.

            -  Kinetic Energy

            -  Physical Energy

            -  Elastic Energy

            -  Potential Energy

            -  Gravitational Energy.  

                                          

 We enjoyed using slingshots and making catapults.
