Week 5 Update

Update

Ko Hata Maria
te Matua Wahine o te Atua icon.

We went to vie the icon today at St Mary's Church.  She is absolutely beautiful and we all enjoyed seeing it in person.

Before we went, we all learned about the painting and what is the significance of different parts of the painting and what they symbolise.

We returned to the church to celebrate mass with the rest of the senior school and parishioners.  This is a very special time for us and has been missed.

Cross Country is planned for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our School Cross Country in the Redwoods for years 4 - 6. We are hoping that the weather is kind to us so the event can go ahead. If we have to cancel the event, a notification will be sent out to you

The children are hoping it goes ahead. They will need to bring their PE uniform and shoes they can run in to school and will change before we go to the Redwoods.  It is highly recommended that they were shoes please.

On Friday, we are celebrating a whole school mass at 9.00am.  In the afternoon, we will have fun activities in our houses.  Children will be able to dress up in their house colours.

Teacher Only Day - June 7

There will be no school on this day for the children.  If you require child care you can contact Maryanne Rolling on 0211 215599.
