Each week, Kakano 3 and Room 3 get together for
Tuakana - Teina.
It is great to see how the relationships have grown. The children enjoy doing things together, whether it is reading, art and we have also had a special treat where Mr Liley and I made waffles for them. We actually made enough to invite Room 4 to join us.
Last week as Mr Liley and I stood back watching the children from both classes, we commented how well they are doing the Tuakana-Teina, how they are sharing stories with each other and we enjoyed watching how they were laughing and enjoying the time together.
It is great to see and of cause another moment to be proud of them.
